Reach Stacker
A reach stacker is basically a vehicle which is used for lifting intermodal cargo containers to be placed in medium-sized ports or small terminals. This vehicle is capable of transporting a container across short distances quite swiftly and pile them in different rows.

Presently, reach stackers have acquired popularity in the field of container due to their flexibility and greater stacking & storage capacity as compared to forklift trucks. It is also observed that, due to such benefits the reach stacker market has also advanced due to higher demand.

Forklift
Forklift truck is an efficient industrial truck which is used to lift and transport materials such as containers over shorter distances. It is vital to know that just like reach stackers, forklifts are also rated for loads marked at a stated maximum weight and forward centre of gravity. Forklifts are seen as an important element of distribution centres and warehouses. However, each of these structures have to be designed so as to accommodate the safe movement of forklift trucks.

Mini Straddle Carrier
A mini straddle carrier is designed so that the load is supported at the centre of the machine. Hence, the machine lifts and carries the containers while spanning the load and the container weight doesn’t impact the centre of gravity. These vehicles are gaining prominence across the market place since they do not require any type of licensing to function. Moreover, they possess lower wheel weights as compared to forklifts and reach stackers.
